NEW RECORD!

OK, so this is my 3rd post in a week...i don't know what the deal is...but i am good with it...hopefully i keep you all interested :)

This first picture is our fireplace!!!! & my handsome husband sneaking into the shot...he's so funny :)

2nd picture is our back door of our house...the siding is slowly getting done. Dan and his Dad are doing the siding in between all the other work they have to do!

3rd picture is our ensuite in our master bedroom...i am soooo excited to have a bath in my new tub...it's going to be fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the right of our tub will be 2 vanities with sinks...then a pocket door with a shower & toilet...do all guys like to have their "alone" time in there? I don't know...i could think of 1000 other places that i'd rather spend my alone time. Guys are funny :)

4th picture is of our floor in our kitchen...i don't know if you can see it that well, but the floors are Slate in a custom pattern...I LOVE THE FLOORS! I think they are my favourite part of the house. Our hardwood is all down too...but we covered it all with paper so it won't get scratched.

Anyways, there's the latest pic's.

I have some other great news for you all...but i gotta make a run to my house...so i'll fill you in next time. HAHA! Have a great day!

TUESDAY...there is nothing really good about Tuesdays. Except this morning i had a text message chat with my very good friend and it was VERY encouraging! Ang, you made my Tuesday a better one :) So I got a few pic's today so i thought i'd post them...for all of you who just look at the pictures. I am definatly a picture girl too...but i read the words too...most of the time :) WOW 2 postings in 1 week...i think that's a new record for me. Once i get my computer set up in my house i will be more consistent...we don't have room for any electrical devices in the trailer...except we did make room for the amp & subs :)

This first picture was taken 2 weeks ago of our kitchen. We got our counters customer built so they are higher than normal counters for us tall people. My back always hurts when i work in the kitchen for too long beacuse of the low counter tops...hopefully this helps!

This second picture was taken last weekend when we celebrated fathers day. Left is Dan, middle Opa Dueck, Right Dad Dueck. We always have HUGE rib BBQ's at family gettogethers. It's great!

Random Bonus Shot: This is me when i was shorter than i am now. I think i was like 2 or 3 in this picture. They always joked when i was little that i didn't have a nose. Dr. Lewis was the doctor who delivered me...and when i came out he said "where is her nose"...my mom got worried and really thot i didn't have a nose...but i guess it was just so little...it grew lots since then :) There you go Court...a random fact about me. Here's another random fact about me...i was as tall as i am now 5'10 1/2 in grade 7! I was a freaky tall kid! At least i've been able to wear the same shoes since then :) OK, so there are 2 random facts for you...i think i have like 3 more to go...Enjoy the sun!

Ah, lunch time. My favourite time of the day! :) How's everyone doin? Life on the Dueck ranch is going pretty well! Even tho we work until 9 everynight, we are still smiling. It's wonderful to see progress! Dan took the day off today and Dad Dueck came out to help put on the siding. It looks exactly like I visioned it! ...now i just have to keep up to them with the painting! Both my mom's came out last night to help paint, that was WONDERFUL! We are so thankful for every minute of time that our friends & family have donated to our house. We owe you all BIG TIME!

Recapp of this weekend events: Friday night - Dan dragged me to some tool sale, that was fun :P. Then we went for dinner to the Swiss Chalet beacuse Joel's 'interest' works there...i've never been there before for dinner...and probably never will again. It's really cheap tho, crazy. I went and watched Court's game and went to Blueridge afterwards...i miss baseball. And i'm totally going to miss next years season too with being in Thailand and all...but i guess i won't mind lying on the beaches and sipping fruit shakes instead. :) Dan chilled with Josh & Joel and went to "Natcho Libre" & Castle Fun Park...good times! Sat AM - worked. Sat AFT - went to OB Krahns wedding. It was a beautiful wedding... Sat PM - RELAXED!!!!!! Picked up Crazy Bread and rented "Firewall". 3 out of 5 for the movie. Sun we finally went to Church...it was wonderful, we really enjoy our church. We did a bunch of running around in the afternoon & the had fasba with my Dad for fathers day & BBQ with Dan's dad later on. It was a great fathers day. Both of our fathers are great examples to us, and we love them deeply. Their support & encouragement in life & projects is apprecitated! We couldn't ask for more perfect fathers. Love you!

So yah, not much new to fill you in on. Starting July long weekend we will be free from working (HOPEFULLY)! Love you all...my sister and new neices just pulled up! YAY!

THURSDAY...it's quite close to Friday. Nice! Let me fill you in on the last week of my life...Dan and I spent Saturday night at the Quay Inn at New Westminster. Awesome hotel! I would give the hotel 3 1/2 out of 5 stars, and the location 4 1/2 out of 5! It is located right on the Fraser River. All the rooms overlook the Fraser...it's beautiful! The Boat House, Spagetti Factory, and the Keg are all just a 5 minute walk away...and the River Boat Casino is right there! It was great just to relax and spend time with my wonderful husband. We went in the hot tub on Saturday when we got there...and then headed to the Casino. We didn't do too well, but it was so fun :) In the evening we went to the BoatHouse for dinner and had clams and mussells...it was wonderful! Dan & I both really enjoy seafood! We are definatly going to get our fill in Thailand! After dinner we went for a walk along the peir and settled in and watched a movie. It was wonderful! I have so much fun with Dan...he's amazing :)

This week started off great! After such a relaxing weekend we didn't know what to do with all our energy! This week we have been working until 9 or 9:30 every night on the house...so by last night we were searching for the extra energy that we had to spare on the weekend! We got the fireplace ready for the rock guy...and also the front of the house. We put up a bunch of lights...we have like 70 pot lights in our house, it's sweet! Since i'm married to an electrician, we have the sweetest lighting! We have washlighting, undercabinet lighting, over cabinet lighting, everything is on dimmers and timers...it's so fun :) Dan is awesome at what he does! We screwed the floor down and did a major cleanup...today the sub floor is getting installed & our DOORS & TRIMS! YAY! That's the scoop on the house! If anyone is free this Saturday...i am painting siding from 8:30 till 12...it's getting installed on Monday & Tuesday so it's crunch time for paiting. I hate paiting...i'd rather dig a hole for no reason. But that's OK!

Yesterday a house came onto the market in Yarrow for a sweet price! I have an appointment with the Realtor at 2:00 to go see it...hopefully everything works out and we can have another project! Like we aren't busy enough...but it looks like a great opportunity.

That's about all that's going on lately...we have a 1982 Toyota Landcruiser that we want to sell...if anyone is interested. :)

God is good! He is real and moving & has great plans for what he wants us to do everyday! Rest today in the knowledge that we has us in his hands. He wants us to be totally soldout for him...sometimes this means going through the fire which can be extremely scary and painful, but very nessesary. God is love, He is faithful...hold Him close and live your life for Him.

Have an awesome day! I hope it gets hot and sunny again soon...love ya'll!

Sorry about not posting forever! I have been crazy busy...then the other day I wrote this super long blog and i guess it was when they were having 'issues' with the server...and so i lost it all. I was NOT happy. But i'm over it today :) I hope you are all doing well!

This 1st picture I took on Tuesday night after a long night of working at the house...it's so cool to be able to make the 1 minute trek down our driveway and be able to soak in God's beautiful creation...so peacful!

Well...life continues to be crazy! Last weekend was Erin's wedding...it went perfectly!! Erin was STUNNING! The weather turned out great, so the pictures went so smoothly in the morning. The cerimony was beautiful...it was so touching to hear the exchanging of vows and the declations of love! So moving...:) There were sooo many touching speaches said at the reception...Erin & Ryan are incredible people and have touched so many peoples lives so deeply!!! Even though there were so many happy emotions...it is bitter sweet to see Erin move to Pheonix. She is a wonderful friend & Dan & I look forward to many trips to Pheonix :) Love you guys!

Life at the trailer...oh man! I am getting more anxious as we are approaching the end! Painters will finish today!!!!!!!!! Flooring goes in on June 20th, Cupboards on June 26th...hopefully about 4 more weeks!!! Dan & my jobs for this week are finishing up the paper on the outside & then framing in the fireplace. After that we have to lay the sub floor & start putting up our cedar siding...i have learned to make lists and pace myself!

If i could make a request to you my friends and family...please pray for Dan. He is such a WONDERFUL husband! He is full of energy and excitment for life...and such a deep love in his heart for me. His love and commitment to me is overwhelming at times and i am in deep awe of his integrity and commitment to OUR FATHER. He is getting worn out tho...buidling a house, working a full time job (working 15 hour days), keeping up his relationships with his friends, and being a wonderful husband to me is making him tierd. I suprised him this weekend and booked a night at the Quay in New Westminster...so hopefully this is a time of rejuvination and relaxation. Thanks guys....

God is faithful my friends! I've been learning tons lately...and i'm so pumped! God's been telling me to be more like Him. This is a huge lesson that applies to EVERY aspect of my life. "When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control." This is a beautiful description on Jesus! To be like Jesus (who is PERFECT in all these) we must claim this verse everyday! There are often times when i fall short on ALL these fruits (probably everyday!) Here in the fraser valley we have many fruit trees and fruit bushes. But for the these to produce GOOD fruit, it takes time, it takes pruning, it NEEDS attention! Like these fruits, the fruits of the Spirit are no different! God lets us experience many different circumstances in life to help us GROW. Sometimes the situations are very difficult...and sometimes they are wonderful. We must CHOOSE every day of our lives to learn and grow! We must choose the RIGHT answer to the the hard questions in life...and keep focused.

Anyways...i have more to say...but i'm a work and i keep getting distracted...

Know you are all loved! Have a great week!
