Will it ever end?

So I just vented on here but then erased it all because i felt that everyone wouldn't really appreciate to hear my frusterations. So yah, I feel better.

Summer is like half way over! That's not the best thot of the day... Dan and I spent the weekend at our cabin in Green Lake. It was WONDERFUL! We went wakeboarding, relaxed, ate great food, and fished! Dan is so cute...he loves to take me fishing...and we have such a fun time...but I think he gets a little frusterated with me. I like to suntan and eat spitz while i'm fishing. I also am a very figity person...so I'm always trying to find a better way to get comfortable...it is usually during the times that i am holding my fishing rod with my legs or falling asleep in the sun when i get a bite. I usually miss it and the fish steals my bait...so i spend most of the time reeling in and out to see if my bait is still on my hook :) But it's so fun! I did actually catch a fish! It was just a little one, so we let it go :) We saw a deer grazing beside the lake we were fishing on...it was so peaceful! Buddy always comes wherever we go. He usually tries to jump up on our laps when we are loading up the ATV with all the gear. Sometimes he thinks he's still a puppy. He's learned now to crouch on the back on the ATV and keep his balance...it's pretty funny. He comes with us in the boat and usually sleeps and eats spitz with me.

The lake is SUPER warm this year! It's going to be so nice to spend 10 days up there in August...i am very excited!

Well...house stuff. WE ARE STILL LIVING IN THE TRAILER. Boooooooooooooooo. BUT, we are OFFICIALY moving in on Saturday :) Finishing painters where at our house today...our granite gets installed tommorow...and then the plumbers will finish up on Thursday! We get all our appliances on Thursday...it will be SO nice to be able to do laundry and COOK! Wow! Who knew I could get so excited about doing laundry and cooking! Actually i do REALLY love cooking. I've already planned our first meal in our new house. 3 legged chicken. It's a curry/coconut milk base...should be good!

Unfortunaly, there isn't really much else going on (or anything else i can think of).

In this crazy busy stressful time, i really appreciate all of my family and friends who have been around to make it a little easier. I love you all VERY MUCH!

Summer Fun!

Wow, i'm lovin' this fantastic weather! It has been challenging to stay focused on building our house and working...while we could be out tubing down the river...crazy! But we did go away last weekend with Cass, Joel & Jamie up to Kelowna to visit our grandparents. It was a blast! They are heading on a 7 month missions trip in August...so we wanted to spend some time with them before they left. We headed up late Friday night after a $6.00 steak dinner at the Pub...best steak i ever ate for $6.00! hahaha! There were lots of funny moments and grand schemes that made the weekend a blast...good times!
My grandparents live in the back of Kelowna on a moutain that overlooks the whole city and the Okanagan Lake...so we spent lots of time playing cards & watching fireworks from there deck...beautiful! We ate SO MUCH...my grandma is an amazing cook...beats trailer food! We headed home on Sunday late afternoon so we could work on our house on Monday. We worked for a couple hours on Monday...then i headed to the river with my dog, my MP3 player and my book...it was MUCH NEEDED quite time! A bit later Jamie & Jess came and joined me for some nerf football and suntanning. Dan spent the afternoon with his buddies at Bridal Falls cliff jumping...suprisingly enough my daredevil husband came back with only minor injuries and breathtaking stories...eeek. Since then we've been working on our house...we're moving in next WEDNESDAY! Only a few more days of trailer life! Incredible! Well, better wrap this up and get back to work...hope you all are getting suntans & taking a moment to soak in our Fathers beautiful creation. Love you all!
