I can't help it if my life has become boring and i have not been motivated to put it in writing! Buy sorry anyway. The last time I posted was on September 11th.
September 11, 2001 - Denise and I woke up in our musty VW Westfailia to commotion out by the washrooms. We had rolled into a small private campsite the night before for a clean shower and a quiet night sleep. We hoped out of the van and went outside to see what all the commotion was about. Everyone was talking about the terrorist attacks and we heard some wild randitions to a even wilder truth. We packed up our van and turned on the radio to listen to the news. As we weaved down some back roads of a small town just outside of San Fransico, we were chilled by the hunderds of flags flying a half mast. We found out the Golden Gate bridge was closed down due to fear of more terrorist attacks. Anyways - that's were I was during 9/11.
And 9/16/01 - another day to remember. We were heading back from our trip down the coast and we got rearended by a big Dodge Ram. My back was broken and may other cuts, bumps, and bruises (along with a 8 inch stick in my foot). We spend 4 days in the hospital at Mt. Shasta in California (really nice hospital! - really!!!). Due to 9/11, the airporst were closed to international flights...so my paren't drove a Suburban out, drugged me up on LOTS of morphine...made me a comfy bed out of airmatresses and foamies and drove me home - only to spend 6 weeks in bed and another 3 months in recovery.
Then we come to some great memories of September:
9/9/84 - Dan was born!
9/10/04 - Dan and I were married
OK - not much has been new lately. Dan has been gone hunting like every weekend...so i've spent alot of girl time over the past month...it's been so much fun! This weekend Cass & Ange are taking me to Vancouver for the weekend! We are going to stay in a hotel and shop and relax and eat foot...i can't wait!!!
Well, i'm bored of writing. Sometime i might become motivated to post some pictures and write more relavent information - until then...take care! Enjoy the trees :)
