Mud puddles are TOO FUN!

It's taking too long to upload...i'll post some more tommorow. :)

Here's a breif summary of my weekend.

Friday Night - Went to the Mongolie Grill with Joel and Kat for Dan's birthday. After that we went to White Rock and had Gelato and chilled...it was super fun! I gave Dan is first b-day present - a 1 year subscription to Dirt Rider (dirt bike magazine)

Saturday AM - I made Dan crepes and we chilled out and watched a movie and just enjoyed being with eachother with nothing on the agenda. Then i took him to Tracycakes (his mom's cafe) for lunch and cupcakes. Then we went and visited Dan's oma and opa and met up with Joel, Cass, Josh and Ange and went to see that Talladega Nights (or something like that) with Will Ferral. It was pretty funny (3.5 out of 5 stars) After the movie we went to Mission Springs for wings and burgers...it was a great day!

Sunday - Went for a walk to the river and chilled out there for the morning. I made Dan a b-day cake and went to the Born's for B-day lunch. Good food great company! Then we went to the Duecks and had Dinner. The weekend in a nutshell.

Last night Dan told me that he felt very special and loved...that was my goal, so i'm happy too. Yesterday was our anniversary...but we are going to celebrate it on Wednesday :) Thanks to all of you who sent anniversary greetings - we really appreciate it! Love you all!

Malibu?

HOWDY! Unfortunatly, I don't have any pictures to share with you all...and not really any stories either...i'll dig deep and try and find something interesting to share :) Well, the long weekend has come and gone. The long weekend is kind of like New Years for me. It marks the end of an era and the beginning of something new. We bid farwell to our summer adventures, and start to gather firewood for another cool winter. OK, maybe it's not that extreme...but kinda. We actually do have to get firewood because we put a high efficency wood stove concept fireplace in our house :) It heats our entire house...so we will use it as our main heat source. But we did also put in a high effience furnace for those days that Dan is gone and i don't feel like going and chopping wood in the freezing snow. ANYWAYS - long weekend! Dan went Bow hunting with 3 of his friends. They had a good time! It was all their first times going Bow hunting...so they were pretty stoked! They tracked and shot at a few bucks, but they didn't bring anything home. Dan has been shooting his bow everynight since he got home - - - the guys will go soon again and this time i'm sure they will get a few. They were just all WAY too excited last time :) As for me...Friday night I had 4 of my friends over and we party'd it up. It was SO fun! I discovered Ice Tea and Malibu...you gotta try it, it's fantastic! The rest of the weekend my friends came and went and we watched probably 6 movies, played atleast 10 hours of Simpsons Road Rage, Shrek 2 & Beach Volleyball on PS2, and suntanned and swan at the river. It was wonderful and relaxing and just what i needed.

Saturday it's DAN'S BIRTHDAY!!! Dan's been a bit down lately, so I want to plan a fun weekend to celebrate his life. If you think of him, or see him, give him a birthday wish...he will really appreciate it! And then Sunday is our 2nd Anniversary...time is flying by!

Hope you are all doing great!
